Church Hall Hire

St Peter & St Paul and St Joseph the Worker Church Halls – Venue Hire

Are you looking for a welcoming and versatile space for your next event or activity? Both St Peter & St Paul and St Joseph the Worker Church Halls are available for hire – ideal for community groups, classes, meetings, children’s parties, and social gatherings. Both halls offer spacious interiors, kitchen facilities, accessible toilets, and on-site parking. Conveniently located and serving the heart of the community, our church halls provide affordable and flexible venues with a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Rates: Monday - Friday £10 per hour, Saturday & Sunday £15 per hour

Line Dancing

Put on your dancing shoes and join us for Line Dancing every Thursday at 7:30pm in St Joseph’s Church Hall!
Whether you're a complete beginner or know a few steps already, everyone is welcome. It’s a great way to have fun, stay active, and meet new people – no partner needed!

Knit and Natter

Come along to Knit and Natter – every Tuesday from 10am to 2pm at St Peter & St Paul Church Hall.
Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned pro, everyone is welcome! Bring your knitting, crochet, or needlework and enjoy a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. No need to book – just drop in and join the conversation. New members always welcome!

    Young Adults’ Pilgrimage to Rome

    Friday 5th and Monday 8th September

    This Pilgrimage to Rome for the Canonisation of
    Blessed Carlo Acutis and
    Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati,
    is open to anyone aged 18-35.

    The cost is £475 per person based on sharing a room, with financial help available.

    RCIA Course

    Starts Wednesday 17th September - 7-9PM
    Parish Centre at St Peter & St Paul Church, Swadlincote

    If you are over 18yrs old and are interested in becoming a Catholic, would like to find out more about the Catholic faith or would like to receive your First Communion or the Sacrament of Confirmation, please speak to Fr Prince or enquire in the parish office for an informal chat to decide which is the best option for you.

    The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (R.C.I.A) Co -Ordinator is Jane Foskett. Our Parish R.C.I.A. course runs each year from mid-September until the end of April.

    Carmelite Day

    Saturday 18th October - 10:30am - 4pm
    St Peter & St Paul Church Hall

    Find out more about Carmel, Our Lady of Mount Carmel, the Life and Works of Great Carmelite Saints, Prayer and Divine Office, with videos, discussions and prayer times.

    Please bring a packed lunch, tea/coffee and biscuits will be provided.
